On Friday morning the Bengaluru District incharge Minister Ramalinga Reddy inaugurated the borewell which has been fitted with submersible pump and connected to residences in the locality. With this, it brought smile on the faces of residents who had been suffering for a period of two years. The residents thanked the Minister with a applause. Even though the borewell had been sunk long back due to the apathy of the authorities concerned, connection was not given. After that maybe in two years time, the flooding problem will be solved, he said.
The Minister addressed some grievances on the spot.
