Upcoming artiste receives recognition on various platforms

Vinayaka M a budding Hindustani vocalist was felicitated by “jeevanmukhi” and “Akhila Karnataka Cultural Forum”, Bangalore for his accomplishments in the field of music.Dr. Manu Baligaar, president, Kannada Saahitya Parishat, reknowned writer Dr. Narahalli Balasubrahmanya, former Vidhana parishad member Ashwatha Narayana and others graced the occasion.
Recently his performance at “Chiguru” cultural programme conducted by “Kannada and Culture Department” gained huge appreciation. He performed Raag “Saarang” in a traditional way depicting the story of Lord Krishna at Brindavan. Renowned tabla artist Jagadeesh Irsung accompanied him on Tabla. Melodious bhajan “BHaje Muraliya” had a mesmerizing effect on the audience. He concluded the performance with “vachanas” describing the social responsibility of the individual.
He also won first prize in Inter School music competition “Cottons NXS 2016” held at “Bishop Cotton Boys’ School”. He presented raag “Puriya Dhanashree” with virtuosity, accompanied by Aditya Raj on Tabla. Indi-pop singer and Chief Guest of the programme Benny Dayal awarded the students with the prizes.
