Little Children of Government Lower Primary School in Mestripalya of Koramangala 4th Block went home with a smile on their faces on Saturday.

The Residents ‘Welfare Association of 4th Block, Koramangala, had arranged a function for distribution of school bags, notebooks, stationery and tiffin boxes to the children of Government Lower Primary School, Mestripalya, Koramangala, on December 17.
The function was presided over by M Chandrappa, Corporator, ward no. 151, in the presence of Govardhan Reddy, President, Block Congress, Koramangala, RWA members, donors and school teachers.
While addressing the gathering, G M Shetty, President of the Association, has welcomed the guests and other dignitaries and said that the present children are the citizens of tomorrow and they are to be properly trained in education, discipline, patriotism etc., so that they will become good citizens of tomorrow. He further mentioned that the teachers and the parents are responsible for training the children and thereby contribute to nation building.
Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy, is kind enough to give Tiffin boxes to the children. GM Shetty has thanked the Minister as well as donors for having helped the Association in distribution of bags, notebooks, tiffin boxes etc. The school bags, notebooks and tiffin boxes were distributed to the school children by the guests. Jayalaxmi, Head Mistress of the said school, has thanked the RWA 4th Block and the Minister, in this regard.
The function was concluded with vote of thanks and also by singing of ‘Naada Geethe’ and the ‘National Anthem’ by one and all.
